ANDRITZ to supply new cut-to-length line and leveler to Guangxi Shenglong Metallurgical Co. Ltd., China

International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Guangxi Shenglong Metallurgical Co. Ltd., China, to supply a new cut-to-length line and leveler. Start-up is planned for the 4th quarter of 2021.
The equipment will be used to produce ultra-high-strength steel grades in a thickness range of 3 to 25 mm, with a width of 2,130 mm. Material strengths of up to 1,900 N/mm² will be leveled here after tempering.
The ANDRITZ scope of supply comprises the complete cut-to-length line and leveler, including the mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as start-up of both installations.
Shenglong Metallurgical Co. Ltd. is a joint-stock private enterprise in the province of Guangxi and produces flat and long steel products.
