ANDRITZ to modernize a 20-high rolling mill for First Copper Technology Co., Ltd., Taiwan

The scope of supply and services includes engineering and supply of the mechanical and electrical equipment as well as erection work supervision and start-up. The modernization work is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2021.

After the modernization, the rolling mill’s mechanical, electrical and safety-related equipment will reflect the current state of the art. This will ensure increased production reliability in the future, and the quality of the end product will be improved by the new components installed, in particular new Shapemeter rolls.

First Copper Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 1989. The company mainly deals in the production and sale of copper sheet, copper wire and copper plate.
